Waterjet cutting can be done at high speeds on some materials but on thick and dense materials it is performed at very slow speeds of less than 2.5mm or 0.1 inch per minute, AMC provide smooth machine motion across a very wide speed range

Most of our waterjet manufacturing customers use NEE's Graphical Programming Software 'GPS' which can import AutoCAD compatible DXF files, optimise and path order these, add lead ins and lead outs, and then transfer them at high speed (up to 115Kbaud) to the controller.

 

In high precision applications companies make use of NEE Error Compensation Mapping Software , this automatically compensates for machine component mechanical errors.
