Online Product Demonstrations ~ Burny 10 LCD Plus and Burny Phantom.
The Burny Sales Department of Cleveland Motion Controls is pleased to announce that we have implemented a new method to provide sales demonstrations and remote diagnostic support of our PC-based family of controllers.
For several years, Burny has been able to perform online demonstrations and remote diagnostics of the Burny 10 platform using Microsoft® NetMeeting or Remote Desktop over the internet. Although we had this capability, the process of setting up a demonstration while keeping all the necessary internet security devices in place was difficult and time consuming.
Now, all a customer needs is a high-speed connection to the Internet and a meeting identification number, provided by the Burny sales department, to view the features and benefits of the Burny 10 LCD Plus, Phantom, or Phantom ST controllers. We are also able to provide sales demonstrations of offline nesting software that we offer from MTC Limited (www.mtc-limited.com).
Here's how it works.
If you or one of your customers would like to have a demonstration, simply contact the Burny Sales Department (800.321.8072). We can quickly schedule a product demonstration and send out e-mail notifications to as many as 25 people. The e-mail will contain the appropriate meeting identification number, conference call information, and a link to the appropriate Web site.
At the scheduled time, the viewer visits the Web site, downloads a simple software application, and supplies the meeting ID number and a screen name. The customer will then be able to view the Burny controller screen on their computer and listen to the demonstration. Also, any of the attendees can be given "control" of the Burny and can navigate through the screens from their remote location.
